Sometimes the exhilaration or stress of running your own business can consume you and your time, it's inevitable. At times like this it would do well to remember that there are other things happening while we have our blinders on. Taking the time to get a new angle on events can change ones perspective and help propel their enterprise even further.

Dealing With The Definite
Industries constantly change to meet various needs, businesses grow or scale back, and markets accept or reject new products or services....but what's finite is all things have a beginning and an end. Whether the history of your enterprise is long or short is up to you. It is good to engage in every aspect of your endeavor, but that is not all that defines you, take some time for yourself. An hour daily or a couple of hours weekly can help you deal with the hardline items/events better.
Show Up, But Be Fluid
Coming in with your game face on is good for the major evolution's is good, but having it on every moment of the day can take the joy out of ownership. Every minute is not mission critical, enjoy the environment that you create, remember why you started this in the first place. It's true, nothing comes easy, but striking out on your own should be enjoyable despite the challenges. Bracing for the inevitable does make you prepared, but it also makes you rigid to change. It's beneficial to evolve along with your market, so remember to loosen up from time to time.
